Enrichment Program

The AGI nonhuman primate environmental enrichment program is designed to promote the psychological well-being of all nonhuman primates under our care. AGI has developed and implemented sophisticated environmental enrichment procedures designed to address the specific social needs of each nonhuman primate species and to encourage and enable the expression of normative species-appropriate behaviors. AGI is dedicated to providing nonhuman primates the most enriched environment possible. Through the tireless efforts of our dedicated staff, primates at our AAALAC accredited facilities receive the most scientifically proven environmental enrichment in order to enhance quality of life as well as physical and psychological health and well-being.
