Retinal & Intraocular Delivery

AGI provides a comprehensive platform for advanced ocular delivery in NHPs, utilizing highly refined and reproducible surgical techniques for subretinal, intravitreal, and suprachoroidal injections that enable accurate preclinical evaluation of AAV vectors, biologics, and novel therapeutic entities. These procedures are carried out by expert microsurgeons with validated perioperative care protocols to minimize variability and ensure subject welfare, supporting acute, sub-chronic, and long-term study designs. To capture outcomes with the highest fidelity, our programs integrate state-of-the-art ophthalmic imaging modalities, including spectral-domain OCT, adaptive optics, widefield fundus imaging, fluorescein and indocyanine green angiography, and confocal scanning systems, alongside functional electrophysiology such as ERG and VEP. Longitudinal assessments incorporate serial biomarker sampling, quantitative histopathology, and gene expression analysis, creating robust datasets that map safety, efficacy, and durability across diverse therapeutic platforms.

Studies are executed within GLP-compliant facilities under strict adherence to AAALAC, USDA, OLAW, and CDC standards, ensuring reproducibility and regulatory credibility. By pairing technical precision with comprehensive multimodal analysis, we deliver translationally relevant data packages that de-risk sponsor pipelines, streamline IND preparation, and accelerate the development of next-generation ocular therapeutics with direct impact on patient care.
