Structural Heart & Cardiovascular Models

The cardiovascular research program at AGI offers one of the most robust platforms for testing structural heart and vascular interventions in nonhuman primates. We model complex cardiovascular conditions using advanced surgical and interventional techniques, enabling sponsors to evaluate stents, valves, grafts, occluders, scaffolds, and regenerative therapies under realistic hemodynamic loads. Our capabilities include transcatheter and surgical valve replacement, coronary and peripheral stenting, vascular reconstruction, and hybrid interventions guided by echocardiography, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI. Continuous invasive monitoring with pressure-volume loops, vascular flow metrics, and implantable telemetry provides detailed, real-time datasets on cardiac function and device performance. Chronic implantation and restenosis studies are complemented by histopathology, immunogenicity testing, and biomarker evaluation to fully characterize long-term safety and efficacy.

Each program is executed under validated GLP protocols with complete regulatory documentation, ensuring that results are suitable for FDA and EMA submissions. With specialized expertise in cardiovascular physiology, interventional imaging, and surgical techniques, Alpha Genesis delivers the translational models necessary to accelerate innovation in structural heart and vascular therapeutics.
